Sorry
for not keeping the blog up to date.
We
started this year with Jeremy becoming very ill, and he has only just
now returned fit and well. Fortunately retired vicar, the Reverend
Roy Doran, had recently joined our congregation and he was able to
carry our church through this difficult time.
Nevertheless
we manage to enjoy many social events and a spectacular performance
from Southport Orchestra is pictured below.
Last Sunday we had our harvest festival service at which we were joined by our friends from Liverpool Road Methodist church; we hope we will have more joint services in the future.
We have now started our planning for the next Christmas Tree Festival which will be on December 1st and 2nd
